Loose-fill asbestos insulation is created from raw asbestos. Raw asbestos is unique in that is been broken down and grained. Once it is grained and crushed into nearly a powder, it is then placed into the roofs of homes and businesses and used as insulation for ceilings.

One down-size about asbestos being in this form is that the slightest movement can cause the particles to scatter about. When the particles are flying around, it opens up the opportunity for individuals to inhale it. Imagine if children are in the proximity playing.
